Why I Write
Writing. an action. a verb that lets you put on paper what your feeling, your thoughts, anything you want to say. writing to me is a gift and a freedom that allows me to say what i want while being able to hit the delete button or use an eraser if what i want to say doesnt come out right. this is what i thought of when the teacher asked me. "why do you write?"

i liked that you said "writing is a gift and a freedom.." thats something i havent read in all the others. and when you said hit the delete button when it doesnt come out write...thats something you cant do with words. you can leave out the last sentence though.
ReplyDeleteI can really relate to this piece because I wrote something similar in mine. About how writing it down just makes everything sound better than what you could ever say to someone aloud. I loved when you said "hit the delete button or use an eraser." This is a really powerful piece but I agree with kelsey on the last sentence. Just because its kinda short so it kinda took away from the punch that the rest of the paragraph had.
